ParkZone RC airplanes make for the perfect hobby and collector’s item. These radio controlled airplanes are constructed in a way to resemble scale planes, but do not require all of the traditional building work.
Something that sets these ParkZone RC airplanes apart from similar options is how easily you can upgrade from model to model. Thanks to dual flight modes, you can increase the flight control response simply by switching to high rate or “advanced” flight mode. This will decrease the response time of the flight control surfaces so that the plane delivers a higher performance.
There are countless ParkZone RC airplanes for you to consider with a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you are looking for a scale, sport or aerobatic model plane, ParkZone can offer it up. Here are five models within the line-up to take into consideration.
ParkZone RC Airplanes Top 5:
The first option to look into is the J-3 Cub, which is a scale rendition of the full scale 1939 Taylor Brothers light aircraft. It is magnificent what has been done with this model as the Cub’s flight characteristics are almost identical to the prototype. A lot of people enjoy this as it is a popular subject for modification as you can add a more powerful motor, more aggressive propeller and convert it to a four-channel control.
Next on the list is the Super Decathlon, which features a radio system that
allows for extended control surface throws. The onboard electrics are almost identical to that of the Cub and a cruising speed of 20 mph puts this as a legitimate option amongst the various ParkZone RC airplanes.
From there we move on to the F-27 Stryker aerobatic flying wing. This is an extremely fast and highly maneuverable aircraft in the ParkZone RC airlanes line up. It is extremely responsive to aftermarket hop-ups. While you can do anything you want with this plane, a lot of modelers opt to purchase only the replacement parts for the airframe and install all of the electronics. This can increase the speed up to 100 mph as opposed to the typical 50 mph of a stock ParkZone Stryker.
If you are big into history, you will recognize the P-51D Mustang as being modeled after the most successful fighter of World War II. This has remarkable characteristics in flight as the full sized counterpart and by far the most scale detail of any model in the lineup. The speed out of factory comes in at more than 40 mph.
The final option to consider is a ParkZone Corsair, which is a part of the “warbirds” lineup. This is quite similar to the T-28 as it includes brushless out-runner motor, Lipo batter and a balancing charger. It does have 30 amp esc and a Spektrum DX5 2.4 GHz transmitter that puts it over the top.
ParkZone RC Airplanes Offers Quite a Line Up
This is just a small taste of what you can find when looking at ParkZone remote controlled airplanes. The product line is vast and continues to grow every year with new features and incredible designs.
